Cancellation policy
According to Brazilian Law (Deliberação Normativa número 161 de 09/08/1985 – EMBRATUR):
- Up to 30 days prior to reserved services: 10% of the daily rate will be charged
- Between 29 and 21 days prior to reserved services: 20% of the daily rate will be charged
- Between 20 and 10 days prior to reserved services: 50% of the daily rate will be charged
- Between 9 and 3 days prior to reserved services: 80% of the daily rate will be charged
- Between 2 days and the day of arrival or in case of no-show: 100% of the daily rate will be charged
Caminho do Vinho: wine and countryside
The settlements of Mergulhão and Muricy are located 28 km from Curitiba, in the neighbour town of São José dos Pinhais.
European immigrants arrived here by the end of the 19th century and began to cultivate their small farms. Italian immigrants settled mainly at Mergulhão and Polish immigrants were more numerous in Muricy.
In 2004 local people founded the Caminho do Vinho (Wine route) association to make themselves stronger and to make tourism an alternative for the region.
Today visitors mainly from Curitiba love to spend a relaxing day here to buy homemade wine, cheese, salami, fruits, vegetables, and end the afternoon taking a delicious "café colonial". In a "café colonial" you will find a table ful of delicious breads, salami, cheese, and salty and sweet pastries. You will also have the chance to buy local handcrafts and products. The wine itself is simple and typical for the region (a variation from other wineries which focus on international standards).
This is a private tour and your local guide will lead you to the different places in the settlements.

2:00 - 2:45 pm - Transfer from Curitiba to Colônia Mergulhão
2:45 - 6:00 pm - Visit to different wine parlours where you can taste and buy local products, like homemade wine, cheese, salami, jellies and much more.
Enjoy also an afternoon coffee table full of delicious salty and sweet pastries.
6:00 - 6:45 pm - Return to your hotel in Curitiba.
