Curitiba like locals: Urban Planing

You will meet your guide at your hotel (if in the downtown area) or in a central place. Visit the area known as "Boca Maldita", where you will enjoy a coffee like the locals. From there, stroll over the pedestrian area and visit the most traditional cafés - Confeitaria das Familias. From there, a short walk through Santos Andrade Square (University and Teatro Guaíra), Paço da Liberdade and Tiradentes Square to catch your bus.

You will reach the bus terminal Pinheirinho by bus, located in the so called "Linha Verde" - green line - an avenue that has been newly built to integrate some suburb areas to downtown faster. Return to downtown by bus passing through some noble residential areas and Japan Square, finishing the tour at Rui Barbosa Square. There you will visit "Rua da Cidadania", a market place that integrates several public services in central and suburb areas. During this tour visitors will have the chance to see how locals use public transportation and will get many information how Curitiba developed it in the last decades. This is a private tour.
